I purchased these curtain rods before I read the reviews. After I read the reviews, I was scared I might have to return them. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I had no issues whatsoever with installing these rods. All of the reviews that complained about the second rod not fitting the wall brackets were either due to user error or an old product design flaw (that must now be fixed) because the instructions were easy enough to understand but there was a small detail that must be noted. One end of the curtain rod is small and the other is slightly larger and the wall brackets used must match. There are two small wall brackets (labeled "in") and two larger wall brackets labeled "out"). You must use one small and one larger bracket for each rod. I suspect that customers were using the two small wall brackets when they hung the first rod and then were left with two large brackets for the second rod, thus being unable to hang the 2nd rod....user error. I have Amazon prime, so I received my order in 2 days and the rods were not scratched. The package included instructions printed on the back of the packaging as well as an insert inside the package. The screws were sturdy and plastic anchors were included, though I did not need them since I was drilling into wood. I hung two sets of curtains in about 30 minutes. My curtains are not heavy but they are also not sheer. I gave the product 4 stars only because the finish is not very smooth or shiny, which would have matched my decor better. However, the finish was not as rough as previous reviews suggested. I am happy with my purchase and would purchase this product again. Buying this is like getting one rod free!This was very easy to install. I DID read other reviews BEFORE installing. Make sure you connect correct ends BEFORE trying to install- after that it was a BREEZE. Holds my black out bedroom curtains sturdy. I can open and close curtains without worrying the rod will fall. Good buy.Easy install. Never buying anything but these from now on.Had higher hopes for the rods. Thought they would be thicker and larger but they are super small and more flimsy than i expected.Great for the price was looking for a good wrap around curtin rod!The wrap around feature is essential if using with room darkening curtains.Beware of staples all along the plastic when you take the rod & materials out of the packaging. I cut myself a few times.Also note that the 2 ends are different sizes as well as the mount in which each side goes.For my bedroom, installation was quite easy and my blackout curtain holds up well without the anchors. Hanging up curtains in my living room has not been a fun experience. I have 4 holes of failed attempts which look awful. I finally was able to getIt up, but it couldn’t hold up the length of the blackout curtain and a sheer curtain, collectively less than the advertised maximum.Fast forward to today, where I’m trying again to reinstall the curtains and the spring button has broken. Irreparable. Previous post noted this same issue and no response from the seller for a replacement end piece, so I won’t bother. After my experience, I’m going to save time and purchase another from a different vendor.One of my brackets was scratched, but the mark was on an interior edge that will not really ever be visible so it was not worth returning. I was not at all surprised it was scratched when I saw the packaging -- cheap and did not do much to protect the parts. I am pretty sure the scratch occurred when the brackets banged into each other in the packaging.The curtain rods mounting brackets were easy to install on the wall. It would have been nice if the screw size / drill bit size was included, but it was easy enough to figure out if you know how to size a bit from a screw / drywall anchor.What I did struggle with and the reason for the 3 star rating is the curtain rod / bracket pairing. It is incredibly difficult to remove the rod from the anchor brackets because the push tab pin is so small you can't really get it completely compressed with your finger and a screwdriver is a little too large. I ended up using an awl to depress the one challenging pin. The rod is super tight to the mounting bracket -- good for keeping it all solid on the wall, but challenging if you are a regular curtain washer like me. If you are putting them up and leaving them up you won't have a problem, but know that if you want to take them down once your twice a year, you may struggle.Som muy prácticos, estuve a punto de no pedirlos por algunas reseñas, pero me arriesgué y no me arrepiento, no encontré ningun problema con ellos, es observar antes instalar, hay un lado más delgado pero es obvio el por que y se nota perfectamente cuando preparas el producto para instalación, segui el consejo de una persona de ponerlos hacia abajo donde esta el palito que enbona para que no atorada la cortina al deslizarse, Fue perfecto y fácil instalarSe ve muy bonito y está muy resistente
