When I bought these I was afraid that they might be to heavy or would slide down on silky material., but they turned out to be wonderful and exactly what we needed. They are deceivingly lightweight and the magnets are not too strong, but not too flimsy either and have the perfect amount of "pull". They are very well made and they look fantastic. They are super convenient and you can just hang them on the curtain rod when you're not using them and they will not be an eye sore. I will be ordering many more sets for my other rooms and in other colors. Definitely recommend these over any other ribbons and such.We added curtains to our outdoor patio to keep the heat off the concrete. These tiebacks are the perfect solution for holding the curtains back when not in use. They stand up well in the wind and don't come undone. Very strong magnet and they look great on the curtains. You can even tie them tighter by doubling them twice and the magnet still holds. A better solution for us than a tieback that attaches to the wall and sticks out. Very happy with this purchase. In fact, I have bought 3 more sets as we keep adding curtains to the patio.
