The initial attaching of the hardware to the PVC strips is tedious but not difficult. I personally watched TV while I attached each piece of hardware to each piece of PVC. If you set up your hardware in the order you need them you really don't even have to look at what your doing ... kind of like an assembly line. NOTE the hardware is VERY sharp ... care must be taken when handling metal hanging strips as well as the pieces you attach to each PVC strip.The overall weight of the product is about 50 LBS so a sturdy anchoring point (I used a 2X4) as the attachment point for the hangar strip and subsequent attach PVC curtain.Also, my first impulse was just hang each PVC hanging piece right next to the other but you won't get the overlap required to block the airflow. You must hang a piece skip the next space hang a piece and so on. Then go back and fill in the skipped spaces. This will give you the desired "overlapping" placement.As you may be able to see by the photos, I had to maneuver around the fire sprinkler system. What I thought would be a nightmare was a simple remedy. I cut out the portion of the PVC strip with heavy duty scissors where to pipe needed to go and just used a piece of wire hanger (a cable tie would work as well) to cinch up / connect the area I had to cut. Easy Peasy.The curtain really works well. As you may be able to see in the pictures, a small portable air conditioner keeps this separated space of a rather large storage area at a comfortable temperature for when I have to do sorting etc.Good Luck and remember pieces are SHARP!
